Mavis M. Mataranyika - General Manager
Mavis is the General Manager of Nyaradzo Funeral Services Division. She started her career with the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare in 1994 before joining the University of Zimbabwe and finally the Nyaradzo Group in 2001. She holds an Executive Development Programme Diploma from the University of Zimbabwe, a City and Guilds of London Institute Science Laboratory Technicians Part 2 Certificate and a National Certificate in Science Technology. Mavis has an MBA from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom and is currently studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with Nottingham Trent University.
Batsirai M Simango - Operations Manager
Batsirai has 12 years’ experience in accounting and operations management having joined Nyaradzo in 2004 in the Accounting Department before being appointed Operations Manager for the Services Division in 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe, Higher Diploma in Accountancy, an Executive Certificate in Treasury Management from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Gloucestershire.
Lazarus T. Bvuma - Services Manager
Lazarus is the Services Manager of Nyaradzo Funeral Services and has 24 years’ experience in the funeral industry. Lazarus joined Nyaradzo in 2004 before being promoted to his current position in 2009. He holds a Certificate in Full Embalming and a Certificate in Business Management from the University of Zimbabwe and is currently studying towards an Executive Certificate in Strategic Public Relations and Business Promotion, and a Certificate Executive Development Programme, both with the University of Zimbabwe.
Albert Gahadzikwa - Accountant
Albert, ACMA and CGMA is the Accountant of Nyaradzo Funeral Services having joined the division in November 2011. After graduating from the University of Zimbabwe with a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree in 2005, he worked for Delta Beverages in Karoi as a Depot Controller, before joining Cimas Medical Laboratories as a Financial Accountant in 2007. In 2010 Albert started doing CIMA and attained full membership in August 2014.
Shepherd Mukonowenzou - Fleet and Logistics
Shepherd (CMILT), is the Fleet and Logistics Manager. Shepherd is a holder of a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Transport and Logistics from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) UK, Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Degree from Zimbabwe Open University, Class One Artisan (Motor Mechanics) and a final year candidate at the University of Zimbabwe MBA program which he finished in March 2017. After qualifying as a Motor Mechanic in 2003, Shepherd worked for Challenge Investments before joining National Dairy Cooperative in 2004 as a mechanic and then Administrator in 2008. He joined Nyaradzo as Transport Officer in April 2012 and then Manager in May 2016.
Frank T. Mataranyika - Security Manager
Frank is the Security Manager for the Nyaradzo Group and is in charge of all security matters. He worked for Truworths (Pvt) Ltd for 7 years as a Debt Collector and Internal Auditor and Gold Print for 5 years as an Internal Auditor. He is an active member of the Harare Province ZRP Crime Consultative Committee. Frank holds an Advanced Diploma in Security Management with the Zimbabwe Institute of Management, a Certificate in Accountancy (Association of Accounting Technicians) and a Certificate in Management Development Programme with CLC Training International.
Annie T. Mataranyika - Events Coordinator
Annie Mataranyika joined Nyaradzo group in January 2013 as PA to the General Manager Services Division. She was, on the 1st of August 2014, appointed to lead a new department, Sahwira Events Management as the Events Coordinator/Supervisor. Prior to joining Nyaradzo Group, Annie worked for the Meteorological Department for ten years. She holds Diplomas in Meteorology and Executive Secretarial Studies and a pending project submission for a BSc. qualification in Environmental Studies.
