Dr.Maponga is the Chairman for Nyaradzo Funeral Assurance and Eureka Insurance Brokers

A minerals economist by profession, with research experience in regional minerals economics, small scale mining, economic development, environmental management, mineral markets and mineral project management. Dr.Maponga has experience in teaching economics and mineral economics at both undergraduate and post graduate levels. He has been awarded several scholarships. Dr.Maponga has lectured in Australia, Canada and is presently the Economic Affairs Officer, Minerals and Energy with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Southern Africa Office (UNECA-SA). He  is married with two children

Mr. Bernamy Chiganze- Non Executive (Nyaradzo Funeral Assurance)

Bernamy is currently the General Manager of Rosemarket Investments. He holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a Masters in Business Administration from Nottingham-Trent University and an IMM from the Graduate School of Marketing( South Africa). He previously worked for FBC as the Corporate and Institutional Banking Manager and CGU as a Claims Superintendent. Bernamy is married and enjoys watching soccer.

Air Commodore Innocent Rufaro Chiganze- Non Executive (Eureka Insurance Brokers)

A pilot by training Air Commodore Chiganze is the Director General Supporting Services at the Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) headquarters. He holds a Certificate in Meteorology (1980) Kenya and a Certificate in Public Administration (1993) Ghana. Air Commodore Chiganze attended an executive course in defence management from the University of Witwatersrand, Namibia and went through pilot training with the Air Force of Nigeria. He also did military courses in Ghana, China and the USA. He has held several key positions in the Air force including; Squadron Commander, Officer Commanding Flying Wing Thornhill Airbase, Senior Officer Grade 1 combined Operations Ministry of Defence, Director of Operations and Training Air Force Headquarters and Base Commander, Thornhill Airbase.

Mr. Phillip Chakawarika- Non Executive Director (Eureka Insurance Brokers)

Phillip has over 15 years of merchant banking experience. A holder of several professional qualifications among them IOBz and a Certificate in Business Studies, Mr. Chakawarika is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree with the University of Phoenix, Arizona. In 1997 he joined NMB as Head of Treasury (Back Office) before moving to Interfin Merchant Bank in 1999. He rose through the corporate ladder to Senior Manager and later General Manager back office Operations. He left in 2003 to spearhead the formation of Custodial Services where he is the Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Philip Mataranyika- Chief Executive Officer

Philip is a Graduate of the Institute of Marketing Management of South Africa. He has more than twenty years experience in the insurance industry. He started his career at Old Mutual where he worked for fifteen years, leaving at the level of Financial Advisor. Highlights in Philip's career include winning the Old Mutual Chairman's Prize for top Financial Advisor for five consecutive years 1996-2000. Philip has extensive hands on experience at senior management in the insurance industry. He is married to Mavis and the couple is blessed with three boys

Ms Edith Hatendi- Finance Director

Edith joined the Nyaradzo Group in April 2006. She is a holder of Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the University of Zimbabwe, a Certificate in Management Techniques from the Zimbabwe Institute of Management and is an ACCA member. Her experience in finance spans across a lot of industries having worked for organizations such as PG Industries, Innscor Fast Foods, Lonrho Industries, and Acol Chemicals. Edith has one child.

Mr. Webster Chikengezha

Webster is the Projects Director working in the CEO's office. He is responsible for spearheading business development and special projects. He worked as an administration clerk in the Ministry of Education (1987-1992) before being transferred to finance as a senior accounts clerk. Webster later joined the United Methodist Dental Program as a Bookkeeper before joining Nyaradzo. He is currently studying for CIS and Bachelor of Business Administration (UNISA). Webster is married with two children.

Mrs. Mavis Mataranyika

Mavis is the General Manager of Nyaradzo Funeral Services Division. She is a holder of City and Guilds of London Institute - Science Laboratory Technicians Part 2 and a National Certificate in Science Technology. She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science Agriculture (Management) Degree with the Zimbabwe Open University and the Executive Development Programme (Business Studies Department) with the University of Zimbabwe. Mavis started her career with the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare, before joining the University of Zimbabwe (1994-2001) and finally joining the Nyaradzo group. She is married to Philip and they have three boys.

Mr. Jameson Munyaradzi Chindavata

James is the Managing Director of Calundike Exports. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe. He is currently studying for an MBA with the Zimbabwe Open University and a Bachelor of Accountancy with the University of Zimbabwe. James started his career at Gold Print in 1993, before moving to Hunyani Paper and Packaging as an Assistant Accountant. He joined the Nyaradzo group in 2002 as an Accountant. He is married and has two sons.
