True to the saying, group funeral policies by covering large numbers of people at the same time, provide funeral benefits to many people at affordable rates. Groups include employees of companies, burial societies and other similar organisations and associations. Some forward looking corporates use this as an additional benefit for their employees by contributing to the policy.
There are four different types of group policies: Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Platinum. These policies have the same benefits, differing only on the type of casket or coffin .The benefits are: - Coffin or casket depending on policy type. Click here to view the range
- Transportation of the deceased to place of burial within a radius of 300km. Click here to view the range
- Bus to transport mourners within a radius of 300km. Click here to view the range
- Removal of the deceased from place of death to our mortuary.
- Use of mortuary and chapel.
- Repatriation of deceased for burial.
- Supply of grave equipment i.e. tents and lowering machines.
- Assistance in obtaining the necessary documentation
General conditions
- Policy provides immediate cover for the member, spouse and all children under eighteen years of age.
- Premiums are reviewed in line with cost of service provision.
- Policy terms and conditions are reviewed annually.
- Other dependants such as parents, in-laws etc may be covered on the same policy at an additional premium and on conditions such as 'waiting period' that apply at the time
